Who am I?

I'm Roel Coessens, the driving force behind Momont.be. Everything you see on our website—from design to sales and installation—is my work. Momont is my brainchild, born from a deep passion for sustainability and reuse.

I believe 100% in the power of reuse and the circular economy . I firmly believe that together we can make a positive impact by giving materials a second life and thus combating waste. Therefore, I strongly oppose the throwaway culture that is still so prevalent in our society.

Transparency and honesty are essential to me. I enjoy communicating honestly, even if that means my message doesn't always align with common perceptions. At Momont.be, you're guaranteed honest and clear information, because I believe that sincerity is the foundation for real change.

With Momont.be, I strive not only to create beautiful and unique interior pieces but also to contribute to a more sustainable world. I invite you to be part of this circular revolution and make a difference with me.

01
Unique designs

We work in small editions, often only one piece exists.
This is because we strongly believe in the idea that everyone should be able to put their own unique stamp on their own interior.

Our primary goal is to design with readily available materials. We also utilize reclaimed materials as much as possible.

That is why a lot of time is invested in the design process, where we think about how to get the most out of the material.

This also means that working with reclaimed materials often means limited editions.

During the design phase, consideration is also given to later maintenance of the piece.

We also sell and rent antiques, brocante and vintage items.
For this we look for special, fun objects.

We then give it a makeover and place it on our webshop

Sustainable materials

The world knows that we can no longer be lavish with materials.

So we think about the full life cycle that an object will go through.
The material must be strong and of high quality and the finish must be easy to maintain.

An antique piece, a restored or upcycled object is automatically sustainable, precisely because it gets a second life.

Concepts

In the store, you'll also find products labeled "Product render." This means the piece hasn't been made before. The product exists only in 3D, initially as a prototyping tool and also to get potential customers excited about the design.
You get a discount on these products because you are the first.
